Shaw Bears Top Saint Paul's

Lawrenceville, Virginia - January 20, 2009 - The Saint Paul's College Tigers were defeated by the Shaw University Bears in Lawrenceville on Tuesday evening, 73-66.

Three Tiger players scored in double figures. Freshman guard Ibn Rasoull led the Tigers in scoring with 14 points, three rebounds and a steal.  Senior guard Bruce Royal added 14 points, five assists and a rebound.  Sophomore forward Maurice Reevy also contributed 11 points and three rebounds.

The Tigers look to improve their record on Thursday when they face the Vikings of Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina. Game time is slated for 7:30 pm.
