Rasoull and Williams Named to 2008-2009

CIAA All-Rookie Team 

Hampton, VA – Ibn-Saed Rasoull and Kedrick Williams both were named to the 2008-2009 CIAA All-Rookie Team as voted by the Sports Information Directors’.

Iban-Saed Rasoull is a 6-ft, 4-in guard from Petersburg, Virginia.  Rasoull has started in 15 games for the 08-09 season and averages 8.4 points per game. Rasoull scored career high of 23 points against Chowan and has scored over 10 points in at least six games.  

Kedrick Williams is 5-ft, 8-in guard from Winston Salem, NC.  Williams, who had played in every game this season, averages 5.8 points per game. In the first game played against Saint Augustine’s, Williams set his career high scoring mark at 14. He has scored at least 10 points in 5 games this season.  

The 2009 All-Rookie Team basketball players  will be honored at the CIAA Tournament Tip-Off Luncheon next Tuesday, February 24, in Charlotte, NC.
