Toler and Mann 2009 Cactus Selectees

Lawrenceville, VA -December 10, 2008: Saint Paul’s College senior defensive backs Gregory Toler (Washington, DC) (left) and Jerome Mann (Roanoke, VA) (right) have been selected to play in the 2009 Valero Cactus Bowl, the NCAA Division II All-Star Football game, at Jayelina Stadium, in Kingsville, TX. Kick-off is Friday, January 9, 2009 at 6:35 pm, central time.  

Toler recently participated in the 2008 East Coast Bowl in Petersburg where he assisted the South team in defeating the North, 27-0. Toler ended the game with 2 interceptions, 1 fumble recovery and 6 passes defended successfully. He ended the season leading CIAA Conference with 6 pass interceptions and ranked third in NCAA      Division II with 19 passes defended.

Mann, also an East Coast Bowl selectee, contributed to the South’s blow out with 5 Tackles (4 solo, 1 assisted), 1 for a loss of 5 yards.
