A premier source for peer-reviewed articles from leading journals and reference sources.  Contains extensive coverage of the physical sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, the arts, theology, literature and other subjects.  Included full-text coverage of the New York Times back to 1995.

AGRI COLA (1970-present).  Materials relating to all aspects of agriculture, forestry and animal science.

AHSearch (1980 - present). Arts and Humanities Citation Index, indexes the world’s leading arts and humanities journals as well as selected articles from social science and science journals.

BiographyInd (1984 - present). Biography Index provides a wide range of biographical materials including individual and collective biographies from all fields and nationalities.

Black Studies Center Black Studies Center is a fully cross-searchable gateway to Black Studies including scholarly essays, recent periodicals, historical newspaper articles, and much more. It combines several resources for research and teaching in Black Studies: Schomburg Studies on the Black Experience, International Index to Black Periodicals (IIBP), historical black newspapers, and the Black Literature Index.

Business and Company ASAP (1980 - present). Full-text. Perform in-depth research on management issues, economic indicators, business theories and practices, as well as activities of companies and industries worldwide. This index is also available in book format, 1978-1991.

Consumer Index (1986 – present) Provides access to information about evaluations, test, warnings, recalls of specific products, services and facilities. 

CWI (1992 - present). Contemporary Women’s Issues provides access to global information on women in over 150 countries.


Dissertation (1861 - present, Abstract since 1980, Thesis Abstracts since 1988). Dissertation Abstracts Online selectively covers masters thesis and dissertations from North America and Europe.

DOAJ Directory of Open Access Journals  Full-text  This service covers free, full text, quality controlled scientific and scholarly journals. It covers all subjects and languages. This service includes over 4248 journals in the directory and 1572 are searchable at article level.


ECO (1995 - present). OCLC Electronics Collections Online lets you view abstracts and full-text articles from journals to which your library or institution subscribes.

EconLit (1969 - present). Provides journals, books and working papers on economics.

Economic y Negocios Full-text. This database covers areas such as business and economics in Spanish with Portuguese language periodicals.

Education Research Complete  Full-text. This database covers all levels of education from early childhood to higher education with all educational specialties, curriculum instruction, administration, policy, funding, and related social issues.

Health Source: Consumer Edition Full-text. This database provides access to consumer health magazines, health-related pamphlets, reference books and clinical reference systems reports in English and Spanish.

Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition Full-text. Focus on many medical disciplines including hexi-PAL, the Drug Guide which covers 1,300 generic drug patient education sheets with more than 4,700 brand names.
