A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 is required for scholarships unless otherwise specified by the donor. The scholarships include:
The College Fund/United Negro College Fund (UNCF) Scholarships are funds available to students attending a Historically Black College or University (HBCU). The names of all students who maintain a 2.5 cumulative grade point average are submitted to UNCF as potential candidates for a scholarship. However, a committee from UNCF will determine the students who are eligible to receive a UNCF scholarship.
Saint Paul's College Academic Scholarships - These include, among others, Presidential and/or Special Presidential Scholarships and require minimum academic achievements in order to receive them. They are competitive and the amounts awarded each academic year is based upon the final amount allocated for scholarships by the Saint Paul's College Board of Trustees. Students who submit their FAFSA applications to the Department of Education Processing Center by March 1 of each year are automatically considered for these scholarships.
