The Office of Sponsored and Federal Programs subscribes to various databases to provide information on funding opportunities for faculty and staff use.

FoundationSearch America

FoundationSearch is North America’s leading source of fundraising information for non-profits and charities. Our online resource includes more than 120,000 foundations, representing billions of dollars in annual granting, and includes tools to locate grants by type, value, year, recipient, donor, and historical giving trends, and much more. Along with BIG Online, FoundationSearch is a key resource for the nonprofit sector, and an integral part of Metasoft’s mission to help non-profits efficiently identify, attract, and manage the relationships and resources vital to the fulfillment of their philanthropic missions.  

Big Online America

Metasoft’s flagship product, BIG Online, is the only searchable, North American database of online corporate, foundation , and government grant making information. This unique service also supports users through the provision of detailed grant writing resources and electronic tools. BIG Online has been adopted by thousands of non-profit and charitable fundraisers throughout the United States and Canada.

Federal Information Exchange (FEDIX)  

FEDIX provides free on-line information of federal opportunities for research and education. FEDIX is used as an outreach resource to promote enhanced communication to colleges, universities and other educational and research organizations.  

National Institutes of Health (NIH)

The NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts is the official publication for NIH medical and behavioral research grant policies, guidelines and funding opportunities.  

National Science Foundation (NSF)

The NSF funds research and education in most fields of science and engineering. Search funding opportunities and an award database.

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

This website includes information on open competitive grant opportunities at EPA.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)
 

This site include the Top 10 Corporate Foundation and the Top 10 Private Foundation as ranked by their total giving.
